My Projects
Current Projects:
Live Music Blog
A blog for festivals, concerts, and bands that know how to play live.
Status: After a short hiatus, LMB is now making a comeback. I plan to have a somewhat limited daily role, but I definitely plan to continue contributing podcasts and mixes as well as columns on trends in the business of live music. Check out my archived posts, columns, and podcasts. -April, 2009
Live Music Workouts
This is an “uber niche” project that came out of some music mixes I originally began creating for Live Music Blog. The idea is pretty simple: take the raw energy and power of the live concert experience and splice together a workout mix to get my butt moving faster. The podcast series sparked a nice bit of interest amongst LMB readers/podcast subscribers, so I decided to flesh it out a bit on its own site.
Status: This project is still very much in its infancy – March 2009

Live Music Musings
Live Music Musings is a blog that I started way back in 2005 as an extension of my graduate research and writing on the business and culture of the live music scene. Most recently, I pulled together all my past writings, here and on Live Music Blog, and added a few new thoughts on the concert and digital music industries.
Status: Justin and I recently decided to revive Live Music Blog, so I am currently trying to decide how to treat Live Music Musings. As a result, the site is definitely in “construction mode” until I make a final determination of its fate. - April 2009
